Formerly known as the Salon du Livre, Livre Paris is France’s biggest book festival and a truly unmissable gathering of who’s who in France’s book industry, and will be held at the Porte de Versailles Paris Expo between March 17-20 2016.

Hosting both French and international authors, the fair is one of the best places to find out more about your favourite contemporary writers as well as discover new authors and novels to fall in love with. Along with being a popular event amongst publishing professionals, there will be plenty for book lovers to get involved with – over 4,000 signings, interviews, debates, readings, talks and exhibitions have been revealed to unfold across the four days so far.

Along with holding a spotlight to the hundreds of French and international authors appearing at the fair, the fair also honours every year a guest country, with this year being the turn of South Korea. A delegation of 30 South Korean authors and poets, including Kim Hye-Soon and Jeong Myong-Kyo, will therefore be present.

Each day at the fair will promise something new and exciting, offering an unrivalled choice of novelists, poets, illustrators and writers to hear from that you just won’t find anywhere else in Europe. Rekindle your love for books and reading today by booking a stay at one of our Paris boutique hotels, a collection of beautiful sanctuaries located in excellent locations in the heart of all the city’s action.
