1. Describe Bali in 3 words

Healing, recharging and homely.

2. Tell us the best part about staying in boutique hotels The Amala and The Santai

I loved waking up in the four poster bed at The Amala with the linen curtains all enclosed around us but seeing the pool from the bed and the sun shining through the windows. At The Santai, I loved the reception area, it is vast and open and has a really lovely feel to it. I liked to just sit there working on my laptop…

3. What was your favourite place in The Amala and The Santai

At The Amala, on a sun lounger by the pool or in the massage room. At the Santai, either the reception area or in our huge pool!

At The Amala, the pancakes were world class and at the Santai, the egg white omelette and the morning booster juices.

5. Most memorable view of the trip?

Sitting at La Brisa, on Pererenan Beach for sunset and watching the whole sky turn pink. Amazing.
